Dear God, What Did Someone Do to This McLaren P1?
There’s really no accounting for taste is there? And infinite amounts of money definitely doesn’t buy it. Case in point, this McLaren P1. Ugh.
This once beautiful machine was disastrously painted, yes that’s not a wrap, by one of the “Rich Kids of Instagram” who have been documenting their lavish exploits and making fun of the proletariat.
According to the feed, the owner paid McLaren an extra $139,000 for the paint job on top of the already $1.2 million for the car. That also doesn’t include the massive importation tax on the car since it went to China.
I don’t know why anyone would do this to such an already striking car, or why they would go and paint the rear wing 3 different colors? Honestly, I wouldn’t have pegged McLaren as the “whatever goes as long as you have the cash” type of company. They aren’t Ferrari!
I’m just thankful that Bruce is no longer with us to see what someone did to his heritage. Get it away before I puke.
