Newest Teaser for the McLaren Sport Series
It seems as if we are getting closer and closer to seeing the new McLaren Sport Series coupe in the flesh. Or at least, McLaren is releasing more and more teasers of it. The company could be pulling another NSX teaser campaign that could last a decade, but that’s probably not going to happen.
In this latest teaser shot, the new Sport Series is on track somewhere, doing its best Ken Block impression. It even has the crazy camo livery that Block is known for, but in this case it’s to hide many of the features of the new car.
The Sport Series will use the same carbon tub as the 650S, and the same 3.8L twin-turbo V8 found in all of the McLaren cars. In this spec, the car will put out a rather spritely 450 horsepower, allowing it to spring to 60 in under four seconds.
The car will likely be debuted sometime this upcoming year.
