Chicago May Be Frozen This Time of Year, but This Year’s Auto Show Turned up the Heat With These Hot Rides!
The Chicago Auto Show is unlike any other major auto show in the country. For starters, it’s massive. Over one million square feet of show floor are necessary to display 1,000 vehicles by 40 different manufacturers and outfitters. Keep in mind that it’s not only major manufacturers that exhibit here, but companies like Tuscany, Shelby, Regency, and others that also display their custom creations with hopes of attracting buyers.
Unlike Detroit and New York, Chicago is all about the consumers. As a result, many glitzy concepts and hyper-expensive sports cars give way to more realistic machines people will actually buy, as after all, Chicago is the “consumer’s auto show.” Of course, that doesn’t mean you won’t find your fair share of exotics, just nothing far-fetched like Porsche 911 Rs, or Bugatti Chirons.
