Porsche 997 GT2 Goes Rallying

It begins with a slow-motion karaoke video montage, a glorious soundtrack, and meticulously crafted shots of a crack race team doing what they love with the care and attention of master craftsmen. Well, you’d have to assume they’re on top of their game, right? Rally courses are mental and the GT2 is a powerhouse. There is no room for rookies here.

Romance:  a quality or feeling of mystery, excitement, and remoteness from everyday life.

This is perfect example of that. This sort of thing is far from every day life. It’s an insane journey into the mind of a madman, behind the wheel of his equally mad steed. I applaud him and his team greatly for what they do, despite having heart palpitations from every glimpse of a dropoff.
