John and Paul at Protosport will do the new break-in (800 miles driving the new engine on no boost, then low boost, then full boost programs) and tuning. So when I go down to their shop next month to pick it up, I won't have to do any careful break-in driving-thank God.

The Noble "M600" is what I call my M400, now tuned to 573RWHP or about 630-640crankHP. The original "M400" designation comes from the car's power-to-weight ratio of 400HP per ton, since the car weighs about 2,300 pounds and puts out 425HP in stock form. Mine was totally revised by Seth Agnew who owns Technical Dimensions, a Porsche/Audi (and Noble) tuning shop in Jacksonville, Florida. It uses the stock Duratec V6 Roush spec. engine for the M400, but he floats the valves, letting it rev to over 8,000rpm's and trades the stock Garrett GT28R turbo's for GT28RS blowers. So 640HP in 2,300 pounds = 600 per ton, hence "M600." Here is a link from Noble Forums on the car:

Actually, right now the car is back in Indianapolis, Indiana at Greg Robb's Kit Car Company (he did the original install of the engine for me in 2006), where he is putting on a custom Moton suspension for the car and changing the rear control arms so I can put on wider rear tires-Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires at 345/30-18. That car is also due back next month. I can't wait for spring.

That M600 is quite a built. Didn't realized the Roush engine can take 1.4 bar of boost. Ready to do some serious wheelies with the 345 tires on a 2400lbs chassis. What do think about the new Q1? Cheers.

Now onto our beloved 993TT....
