I would add most of the mods on the car myself so absolute dollar wise I'm saving a lot of $$. So I wouldn't mine paying a little more, but not a lot more.

I would ( as an owner) but the used car lots don't . My feeling goes like this when one day I sell my car (with approx 60K in mods) if I ever sell it (I plan on keeping it a long time) --I would let the person drive my car and then go out and drive a stock 997tt . If he buys the stock car i would wish him well with the amount of time he would have to go through to create a car like mine. If his wheels took five weeks or his car took a few days here or there for installation as he paid the FULL price to mod it then I would wish him well.
In essence the person who makes out the best is the one who only likes a stock car . However when a person who mods OR a buyer who wants to mod a car table a purchase or sale --that 15 percent Vs 50 percent really boils down to how they both feel about that car .
