Sorry to hear of your misfortune, I hope you get it fixed soon.
Perhaps you had other issues as others have stated.
Perhaps the software flash just magnified an existing problem to failure.
I ran the Upsolute 1.0 bar program for the standard k16 for 15k miles with no problems, before switching to Protomotive 700 kit for more power.
I had nothing but good experiences with them and it is a good bang for the buck if you only want to go so far powerwise.
