I disagree.

We are all intelligent people and can deduce what is valid, convincing or legitimate and what is bull. Squashing every post that may have an unfavorable shadow over some product or tuner is worse than allowing a cars owners opinion or view as to what happen. Is this forum for car owners or tuners? Without both, we all lose.

Remember, they are your customers (or potential customers) and now see that you are interested in silencing them if anything goes wrong. Not a good position or stance to take. You should have come back with something like the following; “I am sorry to hear about your issue. Let me help you rectify this problem with a rebuild and upgrade”.
