GT3RS #3207 Wreck on eBay
GT3RS #3207 Wreck on eBay
Saw #3207 listed on eBay with heavy LS damage, air bags deployed and a salvage title, I hope everyone was OK following the crash. Wondering what's the story? This car is on SharkWerks' site in better days as a featured Project Car.

Yes except that one was not as structually damaged as this one. If you notice you can see the horizontal bar sticking out from the passenger quarter panel and all of the suspension damage.
You must be thinking about a differnet car, the 996 GT3 was a total loss. It clipped one wall with it's right rear and then shot across the track and hit the wall on other side of the track almost straight on. The icing on the cake was when it was t boned by a 997 C4 Cab.

You mean this car right. I picked this car up from Vancouver, BC. The car really looked worse than it was. Mainly a lot of metal work, pulling, hammering and dollying the front end; and sheetmetal replacement. The car is going through quite a transformation right now. I am still curious wha the GT3 RS will bring through e-bay though.

I know that it is not a true GT3RS, a local shop converted two GT3's to RS equivalents by changing a number of parts. I would be curious to see what the car gets when it sells as well. To bad for Henning that day, it was an incident that should never have happened.
Car was sold 2 months ago by IAAI L.A
If i recalled it well the ending price was around $40K.
After some research, I found out that the car was fixable by the factory for a merely $80,000.
So yes, you can have a "brand new" RS for $120,000

Even for a project car, I still believe it's a bad deal

Ya 120k is not worth a salvaged title
ya. you can buy his black mirror casings and the wing tips!

i would think the goodies on there are worth more then a complete salvaged car.
