It's kinda hard to see what happened exactly, but it looks like he was wasn't able to pass the TT quite in time and went too hot into the corner, must have came loose and he over corrected and it snapped back the other way.

A mistake, but considering the stupid things people do in cars everyday it wasn't that bad. Probably just inexperience or just getting too aggressive trying to pass that TT. (or both)

And as reported on other forums, the driver didn't actully own the car. He merely "borrowed" it from an Audi dealer for the weekend - so no insurance either!

That’s what happens when you let off the throttle or hit the brakes when you start to slide. Well I guess they learned their lesson. As did the dealer!

Theres a few thousand for ya! haha why would you take a chance on a race track with a car that isnt yours or even insured? Hope the guy has some money cause thats gonna cost him a shatload.
