So are you saying that the GTR is Tiger Woods and Zach Johnson is 911 Turbo? Cos the GTR has whipped the turbo's ass in EVERY FRICKEN TRACK TEST. It wasn't a one off caning, but in EVERY TEST. So there's your analogy with Tiger Woods and Zach Johnson mate. Worse yet, the turbo can't even do a 'Zach Johnson' on the GTR - it has'nt even fluke a win....
Most of the "it's faster than GT2" claims are based on times from diff drivers on diff days. Most head-to-head (same driver / same track / same day) are versus the Turbo, and GT-R always wins. Those are the tests that I trust (in aggregate, averaging out for all the one-off weirdness that HC likes to talk about).

In VERY skilled hands, around most tracks, I think the GT2 should be faster than GT-R.

I suspect, however, that if you randomly selected 100 Porsche owners from 6SPeed and gave them a day in the GT2 on track and a day in the GT-R on track, that 90% would be faster in the GT-R--- plus you'd probably end up with a few wrecked GT2s.
