997 TT beats GT-R at Ring. Nissan accused of cheating.

P.S. I'm a Trojan fan living in the capitol of Gator Nation (Gainesville, Florida). I'm up to my neck in gators and I drive a Croc. Help!

I can assure you, this meth kit IS robbing the car of torque.
HAHAHA!! I think we can all come up to the conclusion that the ring times did not occur in as-delivered condition as much as several loyalists would love to believe. Too many tests out there to prove it. Common sense and physics cannot be defied by that much. Sure Nissan has a video with time, but videos don't show horsepower numbers. The car had to have been running higher-than-stock boost and the suspension had to have been tweaked just for the circuit with an appropriate set of tires.
Apparently when Suzuki uses Meth injection, his Ring times are 8-12 seconds faster. Some American drivers have unsuccessfully attempted to shave lap times using combustion/inhalation Meth technology, but the Asians have clearly shown that direct injection is more potent.
Ahh now I get the Meth. Injection
No VANDER! NO VANDER!
Galactus - do yo honestly believe that the V-Spec is only going to carry over 5 hp more and 200 lbs less for 50% more money?
They have integrated overboost instead of HP? This sounds like what they coin in the Audio Industry a "Cheaper Amp".
8 ohms = 90Watts to compete with the lower class but bring it down to .5ohms = 1000Watts for about 5 mins before it blows.

Actually our highest trap yet (129.5) came before we put the meth kit on the car. I've been dying to take it off the car but my mechanic insisted on it until we can get to a dyno a properly tune the car. (He wanted to make extra sure we avoided detonation.)

by the way, your car sounds great in the video, what kind of exhaust did you get?
GT1 cars dont have to be based on street car chassis. This chassis isnt street chassis racing friendly. Big, heavy etc etc etc.
You wont see the GT-R in anything but prototype classes so Nissan can pump money in and win with a different chassy than what the street cars have. I.E. Super GT (which shares absolutely nothing with the street car) but still have the GT-R winning races.
Not sure why they would be, it is in their best interest to go heads up, since they have nothing to loose except respect, and they have already lost that.
