The smooth hose make a dramatic difference over stock on a 996 and 997 car as we mentioned above. Porsche, BMW, Ferrari, GM and others use the cheapest corrogated rubber hoses as possible to save manufacturing costs. Ferraris and other cars pick up power when we streamlined factory OEM air-intake systems and making small improvements elsewhere.
BgB Motorsports and others tested alot of intake systems professionally as that is where they make their livelihood and obtain and secure sponsorship to go racing. Our systems that may look simple upgrades the factory 996 and 997 air-intake systems and while it may not look sexy and completely changed versus other systems Fabspeed 996/997 Cold Air kits work great.
