Not denying anything. I've had high temp warning myself (once). If you really wanted to flog it under hot conditions and don't want to back down to give the car a break ever (i.e., racing), then the car needs better cooling.

I wouldn't call it an "over heating issue." There is know issue unless you ignore the warning and continue to flog it. Not sure why you would do that, since-- at a minimum-- it destroys your tranny fluid (which is super expensive).

Street tires also get greasy on all cars-- so back down or shred your tires and/or spin off track. These are street cars..... it's not that big of a deal.
