That still doesn't explain why there is no test. GT-R or not, they've both beat it down and are the fastest cars readily available to the US media, there is NO legit reason whatsoever this test hasn't been conducted. Especially when some mags had already said to expect it. I think GM won't allow the ZR-1 to be tested along side the ACR as they've been known not to allow cars in certain tests on occasion. Of course it could also be that Dodge is selling the Viper and have no interest in supplying media cars. But either way, something is amiss.

And the PS2's on the ZR-1 is not your normal PS2, it's a tweener R comp and is much stickier than a normal PS2. The ACR is much faster regardless due to aero. Maybe GM will come out with a hardcore aero Corvette, it would be a beast.

The GT-R is harder to drift than a 997 TT or 997 GT3, therefore if you are trying to drift, the GT-R will consequently get a faster lap. Normal apexing and driving not included.
