Boxster; hands down. S2K has / weight distribution with most all of the weight centered between the wheels. With front engine it puts driver toward the rear wheels which puts the rotation point about where your knees are. This is such an importnat point that most miss in regards to feed back to the driver.
Boxster has about 48/52 with center of rotation about at your hip. This gives feedback to the driver which is very friedly and easy to work with. Roll center is also lower on the Boxster due to the flat 6 mounted low in the chassey. Steering feed back is better than any other Porsches I have dirven and better than any other cars I have driven.
Harmany between engine, transmision, breaks and steering is also very natural with no one issue better than the other. All are great.
S2K has very good performance and easy to drive fast, however not near the pleasure than in the Boxster.
S2K needs to be driven harder to get decent performance out of it, where Boxster, due to torque, gives more perfromance when driven easy.
Would I have an S2K? Yes. Would I have a Boxster at almost 3 times the price of the S2k? I do.
