Since 60-130 is a measure of time between two different speeds rather than time over a distance, two seconds difference is no where near 20 car lengths. I dont have my data handy at work but I think from my runs 0.5s is roughly one car length (15ft) by the time the winning car gets to 130 mph. So 2s difference may be ~4 car lengths approx.
