I installed the Softronic reflash to my otherwise-stock 2005 Boxster S yesterday, and I love it. The process is seamless, from getting the cable to uploading my stock file to receiving and downloading the flashed file took about four hours (and only 5-10 minutes of my own time). Having the stock flash file at my disposal is a great option, as is not having to remove and mail the ECU.

Seat-of-the-pants dyno says the low end is similar to stock, the midrange is much stronger, and the high end is stronger. Where the stock motor starts to flatten out around 6300 rpm, the reflashed motor continues to pull from the midrange to the redline.

Especially for a road course, it's a great modification while retaining stock reliability. Thanks very much, Scott!
