The rotors will delaminate, and are about $8000 a set to replace. Try searching in the 996 section for PCCB problems.

Stay with your stock brakes, teh PCCB's will only give you a little less unsprung weight, other then that your braking distance will not change, and you will be into this project for $5000 plus your brakes.

All 4 of my calipers are dark red, I have worked them hard and have yet to have them fade, these brakes work very well.
