Your not going to get 1000hp from the new 4B11 engine without MAJOR machine work, it was the old 4G63 motor that could make those numbers..
As for the DCT, I think it takes a couple of tries to get everything right, Gen 1 Nissan GTR would blow gearboxes after moderate abuse. Evo X are not blowing as often. Give them 2 more years and all the bugs will be worked out.
