I also own an s2000 and simply love it.The transmission is 1 of the best hands down.The only real flaw is lack of real TQ at normal RPMs.With as much money as you can save versus buying a Boxster,you can easily hit 400+WHP with a bolt on turbo kit.Maintenance is nothing on these cars as with most hondas,except the NSX.lol.I have one of those also and at your price range you could get yourself into a 91-94 model which you might wanna look into.If your wanting the open air feeling then look for a 95 when they started making targa models.
