Such a bad *** ride. MB is finally going in the right direction. I feel that this SL BS makes the CLK BS look so tame in comparison. Enjoy it.

What else can I say that has not been said? A thing of beauty is a joy forever. Very nice. thanks for all of the photos. It's nice to see all of the car rather than the usual angle shots of the outside.

Thanks guys....

I'm up to 401 miles....so another 600, to go, followed by an oil change and differential fluid change, and it'll be time to let the V12 loose. It rained a bit on the car while parked today (had to happen) so I spent the evening washing it and polishing it with a cotton diaper. You really have to wash this thing to truly understand all the subtleties of the bodywork.

Oh yeah, I tried out the built in lap timer. While I can't go WOT for a while yet, it will still hit 60 in 5.2 sec at about 1/2 throttle in comfort mode (ie 2nd gear start)
