We've found that they work quite well on reflashed cars. The SB improves the response in the first half of the rev-range, and the ECU upgrade takes it from there. The combination should wake your Cayenne up significantly.

I always assumed the lag was from the turbos, when driving the tiptronic agressively there is no lag what so ever, definitely add one of these and will mention online member, thanks for the info,

 

It is so good in eliminating "lag" that you actually have to be careful when in sport mode and a traffic light changes not to rear-end somebody.

We recently sold one to a customer with an 02 Turbo. Let me see if I can get some feedback from him.

 

Ever hear any feedback from Mr. 02' Turbo ? Has anyone tried this booster on a 996 TT 6 speed with mods?

 

Never heard back from him, which probably means he's too busy having fun with his car to reply to my email!

Seriously though, I can tell you that the Sprint Booster works extremely well on a 997 Turbo with mods. We did one for a customer with APR software and a Tubi exhaust, and that thing has instantaneous response, but it's still very controllable.

Despite the difference in turbos, the effect should be similar on the 996, though it also depends on the mods. I've personally installed and driven with the Sprint Booster on several 996's, just not Turbos. Is your car a 6-speed or a Tip?
