I agree, although Ranger never powershifts on any of his runs.

I suppose the rule is only powershift if it's your own car....never do it with someone else's car.

Seriously. That dude has made all of his unreal times without ever powershifting, whether it's his car or someone else's.

One of the reasons he does not powershift is becuase there is a penalty to be paid with the stock ECM tune for powershifiting. He found that overall a lift shift provides a faster time with a stock ECM.

Nice, I live for that kind of air. It's just starting to get decent down here. At least our tracks stay open pretty much all year so we'll get some good air, just have to wait a little longer for it.

WOW! I've got some mods on mine. Boost bumped to 12psi, tuning. Switched to the Potenza RE070's as well. I'm just scared to drag race it.

Did you go to a different wheel? Because the stock tires are very good. If you do decide to take it to the track let me know and I will give you some pointers if I can.

I had to go to 20" rims at all 4 corners. The Potenzas are better tires than the stock ZR1 run flats. The Potenzas are run flat as well. I don't have as much rubber on the back, but they grip so much better it makes up for the narrower rims. Puts more rubber up front. Turn in is much sharper. I just have reservations about drag racing it. I have run my GTO 6 times & because I was worried to destroy all the work I put into it, my times sucked.
