I understand what you're saying on the money. We all have different places where we are in life, and different comfort levels with those places. No worries. I'm selling this car because I spent three times what I'm asking for it on a Datsun, so my comfort zones must be all screwed up.

The subs are JL 8W0s. No big deal. The box actually was made for W4s or something (don't remember) but they didn't come in by the time I wanted them, so I threw zeros in it and they do ok. The box is gorgeous though. It's removable in all of 5 seconds for track day, yep. However, it's really solidly in place too.









Nothing is available other than what's on the car. I sold everything along the way. Well, the stock seats, which are currently in the car, are going with it. The supercharger was bought by 6speed member justatoy. Now the engine is NA and has been boosted to over 400HP. I did the same things as another on here who got 415 at the crank through acceptable math, so that's about where it is now. It's good on power, for sure.

I'm about to leave the house and take it to European Auto Garage to have new Toyo R888s installed.

That's a nice sub box... I used to have a couple JL W0's- 12". Some people might think they're not great because they're the bottom of the line for JL, but they're still some decent subs regardless.

 

Yeah. I agree, Broker. Back in the day, I was a basshead. I had an Integra with three 10s in it. They were all W0s because I couldn't afford anything more. Ended up, I hit 154bd with them at a db Dragrace. They sound good!

But this time, I just borrowed these to wait on the "correct" ones. Ended up, the "correct" ones never came, and the stereo shop just gave me the W0s. No need to change them out, in my opinion. The door speakers, Focal Utopias, are amazing though.

 

154bd... Very impressive. All of my sub setup's have been in cars with trunks; I bet it's really nice having it right there to bounce the sound off of the rear window.

I can't even imagine how amazing those Focal's sound.

OK fellas. She's sold and delivered now. It's been a sad 24 hours. The new owner wants to sell/trade the wheels and tires for something less aggressive. The wheels are HRE 18" Competition wheels, matte black with red pin stripes, and and Toyo R888 tires. The rears are a week old. I bet he'd take a stupid low price for them. Let me know if you're interested. Trades (wheels and tires for a 997) are welcome.

So sad to see her go, but she was good to me.
