Yes, and seems a bit odd to me but I'm not very familiar with these cars.

525whp @ 1.3bar and picks up 155whp (to 680) with .1 more bar of boost and race fuel. (and maybe lots of additional timing?)

Also may have allready been answered but are the stock bumper/etc included if one wanted to return the exterior body to stock appearing? Thanks.

Hey, I'm new to the boards and can't PM you because I don't have enough posts. I'm looking to buy a car in the next few months and I'm really interested in your car. Can you send me your e-mail address?

I'd buy it at $55K if I didn't have my Speed Yellow TT. In fact I'd even trade some parts if the seller was willing to do so for some good money. It might be easier to sell but then again I'd rather buy it the way it sits.

If the new buyer wants the stock OEM parts just repainted Speed Yellow, I'll trade for these aftermarket parts. Good luck with the sale.

Parting it out would be STUPID. Trim the price and I can get a friend to buy it.

Vividracing- Would you mind commenting on the boost/power #'s?

680awhp on 109octane at 1.4bar of boost
525awhp on 91octane 1.3bar of boost

Just seems odd to me that it would pick up 155awhp going from 1.3 to 1.4 bar and race fuel. (unless the fuel enabled you to add a good amount of timing?)

Just want to verify those #'s are correct. Thanks.

Guys... I DONT OWN THIS CAR. It sold in July 2008. If you want information on the car, read the build stories at www.vividracing.com/forums/project-996tt.

The last dyno of the car is here -

Well I guess that's where the confusion lies. You built the car and in your first post you state-

680awhp on 109octane at 1.4bar of boost
525awhp on 91octane 1.3bar of boost

But the latest dyno is 568whp/622wtq. (so not sure where the 680awhp # came from but apparently it is not accurate).

Thanks.

So the power numbers still have not been clarified.
Dan (vividracing) posted these numbers himself in the post

680awhp on 109octane at 1.4bar of boost
525awhp on 91octane 1.3bar of boost

Are they just complete bull**** numbers and the actual number is 568AWHP as seen from the dynograph above or ... ???

568 x 1.2 (drivetrain loss) is 680HP crank.
