New 911TT Owner

Thanks for all your posts and help guys. Pulled the trigger and purchased a CPO 2007 911TT, 6 speed, red, black leather with 6600 miles on it. Beautiful car, almost no flaws, looks and drives brand new. Sad to see my 2006 M3 go, but man am I stoked and in love with the 911. Such great lines and fits me like a glove.

Picked it up last night in Colorado Springs and hit a snow storm on the way home. It was totally detailed and sitting on the show room floor and looked like hell when I got it home. My neighbors thought I was crazy this morning when I was washing it in my driveway in 36 degree weather. Safe in garage for now, can't wait for this storm to pass so I can go out and have some fun. Feel like a kid again.

Great service and a pleasent experience with the guys at Porsche of Colorado Springs. Josh Creadeur, sales, and Mike Tayefeh, service, were awesome to work with.

The car handled well, I went slow, yes stock summer tires. The snow was coming down real hard, just hard to see really, my poor wife was freaking a bit. Last snow this car will see, that is what my Tundra is for!

They have predicted maybe up to 12" in Littleton tonite. So your baby will be inside for the next few days. Congratulations on the new purchase.

Car is totally stock, I would like to install some different exhaust tips, not feeling the stock ones much, any ideas?

Fabspeed quad tips seems to be popular. Believe Evolution Motorsports has quad tips as well. Techart has the two 'interlocking' ovals which I'm personally not a big fan of. Lastly, of course, get a whole new muffler setup with integrated tips.

Are these simply a bolt on mod. As far as a complete exhaust, how does Porsche feel about this warranty wise

Tips are bolt on

Legally, PNA can't claim anything unless they can directly attribute a issue to the modification (search Magnuson-Moss Act, if you're not familiar). This being my first P-car, I can't tell you how they would respond to warranty claims from just a muffler swap, but I can't imagine they would make a big stink about it.

Congrats on your purchase. You are going to love your tt. Welcome to the 6.

For the most part, I have not seen Porsche dealers make a fuss out of aftermarket exhausts. The exhaust is one part of the car that needs to be modded. The stock exhaust note is just too weak and whimpy. I have an exhaust system for sale if you are interested.
