My cousin used to race jet skis professionally, actually won or almost won the world title one year. Those guys used to get really hurt if they fell, not from the fall, but from the other racers running into their heads as they floated right at water level
. Even with a helmet a few guys every year got pretty serious neck injuries or crushed ribs. After being a pro snowboarder, jet ski racer, and doing supercross, I'm not sure how my cousin is still alive

I have to admit wave runners are fun too, doing 360's and spraying people on boats can have its merit.
