All 29 cars were meant for the U.S. but were returned back to Germany because they didn't meat with DOT approval.
Our car never left, it originally was placed at an automotive museum not to be driven on U.S. roads.
Here are a few images of the official Porsche Certificate, the car arriving at LAX off Lufthansa Airlines and the car running at Laguna Seca.

SoCal Locals – Come On By To Check Out Our 959 S
The Porsche television commercial has been completed and our 959 S is back safe and sound.
If anyone in the Southern California area would like to come by this Saturday July 25 (tomorrow) to check out our 959 S – you are more than welcome.
I will be available from 9AM - 1PM to show the car and will be happy to give anyone a tour of our facilities as well.

Famine, thanks for the comments.
With the upgrades and tuning, our 959S is pushing 600HP (450 stock) with a top speed of 220+. The upgraded turbos hit hard and fast.
