I went the same route with my 78 SC. The ERP suspension is the best route if you want a fully adjustable suspension. My car also had 930 brakes, SRP sway bars, JRZ remote reservoir shocks, etc, etc, etc. It handled phenomenally and had more brakes than it needed. I see that you are going to put 930 style flairs on the car. Will you be racing?

Hello Eric, and thank you for responding. The car will be 75% track and the rest street driving more a weekend car. The car had the factory 930 flares when i purchased the car in 1995. Since then i had upgraded the engine several times and so many other stuff.

This time around, i am going all out. I decided to go with the ERP as i had heard good things and also a good friend of the shop. Question for you. Since you have the ERP as well, what is the full benefit on the monobals in the front?

The car is finally out of mechanic shop, finished with the body shop and finished with Chassis setup. Back to another shop for some more details. Do you have the 935 X brace style upfront? I am considering it, but there are some brands in the market for sale and numerous different type of make your own weld type.

What is your input on this??

The convertible will need to be reinforced (cage) if you want to take advantage of the higher spring rates that coil overs allow versus torsion bars. I would not go with the x-brace as it will take up valuable storage space when a simple strut tower brace will do the job.
