My Build - A long Journey

Started with a 1986 3.2 Carrera I bought a year after graduating from university. After many years of spirited driving, I retired her to storage. 2 years ago I decided to giver her a make over.

Started with this:

Engine Build at my dad's house. Too messy for my garage..







Pic of new wheels being prepped for frosted RSR look. Built from 16" to 17". 9 in the front and 11 in the back.



Redline adjusted to 12' o-clock and LEDs added to all gauges.



Front sway added

Nice Job. Love white on classic Porsche. Keep us posted as you continue the project.

Also, I am re-living my youth looking at your christian hosoi and Powell Peralta skateboards! Are those reproductions decks? If so, where did you get them? I feel compelled to say that Skateboarding is not a crime!

Those are repros from SoCal Skateshop. Here is another one that I got from someone on Pelican.

Thanks for the info. Also did a quick google search...didn't realize these old school decks are so readily available. You never know what you will learn from these forums!

Any update on the this build? Im currently building an 2.8 RSR backdate on an 86 Coupe with a 993 3.6 with PMO 50 CArbs. Looking good!

Can't wait to see pics of your 3.6.

Hurricane Issac messed up my house so I've been working on getting it back to liveable. Besides that, insurance deductibles took some of my car funds away. Anyway, here are a couple of pics of the nose and seats.
