911 Turbo S: New Special Edition Porsche

In the land of beer and schnitzel, there sits a lovely little company and turns out some of the best cars on the planet. Ok, so they aren’t a small company, but the cars they turn out are wonderful pieces of engineering awesomeness. I speak of Porsche.

Today to be a relevant sportscar manufacturer, you need to release multiple one off versions to keep the brand and car dynamic and to keep your company in the press. I’m not sure when this whole trend started but Porsche has finally come on board with a special one off version of the 911 Turbo S.

Do we need a 911 Turbo S in the US?

This is how really smart car manufacturers make lots of extra money.
Nissan has not learned yet how to play the game anywhere as well as Porsche or Ferrari.
If Nissan would offer as an option kit : ceramic brakes , Big wing , Michelin race tires , GTR-s with 100 extra HP. They then could add all these items and maybe run sub 7 minutes at the ring . Oh and charge $45,000.00 more............

Well that is the Nismo version except still need better brakes and tires.............

Ferrari understands this and builds 499 units for $1,100,000 and still can't defeat the 918 so back to the test track ..........

Nissan may never get the respect it deserves but respect is earned on the track ...
maybe the next generation GTR will get it done .
Just build 299 units with carbon fiber frame and body parts, drop the weight to 2900 lbs , charge $ 299,999.00 ............ oh well ..........

Porsche is still the best understanding how it all fits together .
