Rather get a V8 Ariel Atom: http://www.dpcars.net/atom/index.htm

IMO ... The Ultima is the most versatile, in a class of it's own. The Atom is in a class somewhere between the Ultima and the Radical. In the Radical-like-class, I'd go for the dp1: http://www.dpcars.net/dp1/ http://www.dpcars.net/dp1test/index.htm

You need to get a Noble. Just shy of 500 bhp on this one. Looks a hell of a lot better than the Ultima, and it will kick its ass!

Its more civilized, yes. The only way the Noble will kick the Ultimas ass is in your imagination. Ive driven both and there is no comparison.

Here are a couple pictures of the LS7 Ultima here in Memphis. Xtreme Auto built it to be one of their shop cars. I bet we could get it lined up with that ass kickin' noble

They even had a Noble last time I stopped by.

Yep, you can get it road legal with the SVA pack(lights and such). I know a couple guys have driven them on the roads... Im told youre insane to do so, but I guess that just means I have a slight mental problem because I sure would drive it on the streets.

My old boss made a fiberglass canopy that flipped forward on the radical 2 seater. Had it registered New Hampshire, and then drove it around the country for One Lap of America. It was in motortrend, or Car and Driver, can't remember which. Only other thing it needed was plate mounts (zip tied) and the wiring harness and associated lights.

They are bad ass on the street!!!

Radical and Ariel Atom are both better track cars, however, they don't have roof or doors and are not safe in a crash. Can't really use them on the street realistically...
