Replacing the worn, stock shift lever.

5th, Push the base up the shift lever to pop the Plastic cup holding the base of the lever, now the lever will pop right out.
6th Pop the new lever in the cup just as you removed the old one. Bolt the base back in..
7th Reconnect the shift to the new pin, replace the C clip.
This is what it should look like.
8th Replace the rubber boot, add the shift knob of your choice and you are done..
Notice the end of the shift pin that is the wear that causes sticky shifting.
