Lol i shreded 4th gear in my turbo 928 last year and after rebuilding it i broke 5th gear the week after on the way to the track. It was running 16psi and wasnt even fully dialed in at 540whp & 520ftlbs.

Tranny problems have always been there and that started once the car reached 600whp. I built my 928 turbo setup almost ten years ago when i built the motor. Installed sleeves and forged parts blah blah. Since then i have updated the heads and cams as well as large valves. The motor is bulletproof but the early double disc clutch i have is modified for 4000psi and it is always a problem. This year i have decided to strip the car due to a meth injection fire and prep it for the track. The turbo i am running is a 82mm with a full 4" exhaust system. Custom made headers and a tubuler front end to fit the big intercooler as well as a big rad and huge turbo. I am running turbo twist wheels with 305 drag radials with 11's in the back and tens up front with 275's konis's all around and the car is much more fun then my 996tt

 

Hi guys. My name is Tommy and I live in Finland. Im new on this forum. I have owned 928 S4 about 10 years. Im hoping to find technical help to my 928 S4 -90 turbo conversion project. I find this thread where someone had already made similar turbo isntallation that I have planned to make. I would be really gratefull if I could get more info what components I need, what kind of turbo charger is right etc. Basicly from start to finish. I have technical skills to do the conversion but it would save a lot of time if anyone who has done this kind of turbo to 928 project could give tips and hints. Especially if person called turbosolution is still active on this forum I would like to get contact with him. Cheers.
