ahhhhh... not quite. It can do a lot but not everything. I've actually raced an auto 928 before as well. NO comparison to a stick, but it can be raced, just not as well. We are not talking Ferrari F1 paddle shifting here, we are talking a slush box.

Love the brake upgrade. any special brackets needed to fit some 996 or 997 calipers? Do you use 996 and 997 rotors too??

I just took the GTS rotors and spaced out radially the calipers to make them work . 12" vs near 13" rotors ............then I spaced them even further out and use the 13" rotors (332mm) .... THEN, not a huge change but a change in weight and life, I got a custom hat and used a 332mm brembo rotor ring for a two piece set up. the S4 928 calipers are perfect stock.. same caliper as used on the ferarri F50 and many other cars its a small brembo caliper . spacing it out is the only mod (and some grinding to radius the caliper to fit the larger rotors). a caliper that doesn't need grinding is the stock C2 turbo front caliper from Porsche. I ended up changing to those

for the early cars before 1987, I don have adapters that I had made to be able to use the old stock calipers and use Porsche cayenne 13 rotors.

much cheaper to just bore (use stock 968 pistons 103mm) and stoke (modex crank at 92mm stroke) the motor that is stock with no other changes.. 375rwhp with nothing but a built bottom end. (no other changes) with a new intake (carbon fiber custom design) it gets near 450 to 500rwhp depending on the other mods like valve size change and 1mm more cam lift. that's near 600fywheel hp on a cheap budget!
