New to forum

Hello everyone. Just found this place, wish I had found it much sooner. Anyway, I do have an 86 951. Mostly stock with Autothority stage 1 chip. I have a huntley downpipe and high flow cat that need to go on the car. Will pretty much restore this car this year.

Anyone know of any good tuners, ECU chip flash etc, in the Denver area?

I use to until my pc crashed in transit from VA to Colorado. But now that the weather is getting better, I will be taking some pics of it. It is a guards red with C2, 255 in back and 225's in front. Just bought some new Nittos for it.

Welcome! You'll find a lot of pretty hot 951's in the front range...hopefully mine will be unleashed soon.

thanks. I should have the car up and running in 2 weeks, with the aftermarket exhaust I pieced together 3 years ago. it is currently as quick as an Sti and with this Huntley downtube and open exhaust a bit more power.

I'm a great fan of the 951. I owned one with my brother back in 1988. It was a black on black '87 with ABS and factory forged wheels (928 style). Back then the 951 was right near the top of the perfomance pyramid, more than able to hold its own contemporary Corvettes and 911s. I have fond memories of the car.

I look forward to meeting you at a future Colorado event and admiring your 951.

well guys I took my car to Dart automotive and they did a lot of work and I got it back and now I have an electrical issue I did not have before. I think when they worked on the car they must have yanked a wire and my right headlight fuse keeps on blowing, even when I stick a 30 amp unit. My radio also goes out over bumps. Never did this before I had the car there.

I could take it back, but I was not too impressed with their work for how much they charged me. I think I wil go to the dealer, I trust them much more.

Did you sort out you electrical problem?
Not a good idea to install a higher rated fuse when there is a short in the wiring.
