What size turbo is that? It looks HUGE! Your build is very cool and I'm excited to hear more about it.
Reading these threads makes me miss my old 930.
ReeknHavic, The turbo is from the Garrett GT series turbo's, it's a GT42R turbocharger housing (internally, it's a little bit modified).
I appreciate your interest. I will post more information as the gets near completion.

GT42 turbo is HUGE!! I think your goal of 500hp at medium boost will be easily achievable! I think it might be closer to 600hp on medium boost, with a turbo that large.
Best of luck on the project.....so far its looking great!
Good Luck with this. I run a GT35R on mine and I have quite a bit of lag. The GT42R is going to have a ton on lag. I guess you don't need heat exchangers in your neck of the woods. I would like to see your throttle body setup when you get the chance.

AWD,
Thanks. I guess we will see the conclusion on the amount of horsepower that comes out at medium boost.
Fingers crossed as of now.

Y65MPH,
Funny you brought that up. I had the option of going with a twin turbo setup at the begining of this project. I could not be persuaded enough in going that route. Besides, the push of a single turbo is priceless . Laaaag, for sure there will be lots of it. But when you have a 996TT @ ?EVOMS disposal (the other project). Why would i want another twin turbo setup.
As far as heat exchangers, the heat around here is 49 degrees celcius (120 degrees farenheit) at the moment. I guess you have an idea of why heat exchangers are not needed.
I will post pictures of the individual throttle bodies once i get a hold of some.
