FWIW there was not a c2 turbo or 965 in 1989. This was the last year for the 930. the only year for the G50 transmission. The only car that was made as a 964 body style in 89 was the C4. Then the C2 followed in 90 with the introduction of the C2 turbo in 91.

I just wanted to let him know so he isn’t expecting something different. It is a toss up as to which car I would rather have.
Love the looks of the old 930 with the 5 sp. Couldn’t get better?
LOVE the looks of the 965 and better brakes, suspension, updated interior, stock k27 (this wouldn't matter as a k27HFS would go on anyway)

But then again it is all hypothetical cause I don’t have 30-50K to spend on a car.

I buy and sell cars at auction regularly, but I have to admit I got attached to this one. By far the most fun I've ever had in a 911, I just loved it! I kept if for quite a long time. When I can actually afford to just collect cars, I will have one of these again!!! Your cars look amazing. Enjoy them!
