If you were shopping for an older Porsche...

...how would you go about it? My wife of 24 years is interested in replacing her '01 BMW with an older 911 cab. She really likes the 964 series.
What would be your approach to finding the cars? What tips and tricks do you use when looking for an older car?
I've been peeking on that auction site and on cars.com... any other places to look?
Thanks very much! Matt

Look locally, usually can find good deals in the local papers, ones that do not list on the net.

Deals are out there, just have to be patient

Craigslist has had some real good deals. You definately get what you pay for with older Porsches. Make sure to get a pre purchase inspection.
