Which new R type tires should I buy?

I would stay away from R888. I won't buy them again that is for sure.
Trofeo and Cup2 are your choices. Also the good old Corsa is as good as the Trofeo if you can find them. They are sold from the racing catalog. Actually my quickest times were done on Corsa. Faster than R6.

Tracked at Laguna Seca with my new Dunlop Sport Maxx night and day difference from my P-Zero's. Wow turns like a completely different car. Passed up everything in my class including an Ariel Atom.

However the stickiest tyres are R888s, and Trofeo Rs are just behind on that as well as Michelin Pilot Super Sport I believe. Only drawback from the Toyos are the noise and wet performance.
I would've went for Trofeo Rs but they weren't available in UAE unless it's a special order that'd take 60 days...

Where did you install them. Is your Rims with center lock S wheels or the normal one ?
Thanks
