21" HRE P101s?

Ok....getting serious about getting a set of P101s for my TTS. If I do it it will be in the brushed dark clear finish. Center lock type wheels with TPMS.

Talked with Wheels Boutique, and I can go with stock 20" replacement sizes and use my existing tires (P-Zeros), or go for the badass HRE setup, which is Front 21 x 9.5 wheel with P-Zero 255/30/21 and Rear 21 x 12.5 wheel with P-Zero 325/25/21.

Just FYI the stock wheels are Front 20 x 9 with 245/35/20 tires and Rear 20 x 11.5 with 305/30/20 tires.

This 21" setup has no rubbing problems, and is a direct replacement without pushing the tires past the fenders. A downside is that Michelin PSS tires are not available in the 21" size, so I am limited to P-Zeros or Continental. Nothing wrong with the Pirellis, however.

What do you guys think? Go for the stock replacements or get the badass setup? Below is a pic of a GT Silver TTS coupe, just like mine, with the 21" setup. Fills out the wheel wells nicely.

Opinions?

I've got 21s on mine 255 frontss and 325 rears no rubbing problems and I've got tech art springs. The gt3 RS has 21" sport cup 2. So it won't be long before you can find some R rated tires for these wheels

I've been running the setup since day one and I'm a WB customer and love it.

^ This. The P-Zero's aren't a horrible tire in the 21" config.

HRE 21's look very good. Stock size is a bit more forgiving on rough roads, but if those are no concern, the car looks BA with the 21's and maybe even lower springs, Like Techart.

If you're gonna be a baller, be a BALLER!!

21" for sure. I have the exact setup you're looking at and I absolutely love it. Makes a stock-wheel car look bland.

Sorry to all you stockers out there....!

If it were me I would buy the 20". Since it is you, buy the 21" as they look better IMO.

Aftermarket wheels in 20's on the turbo look pretty small. I say go 21's, I did!

21's are really the way to go! They fill out the fenders perfectly and the P-Zero's are a great tire option. That is the same exact setup we have run many many of times.
