My new GT3-RS

My new GT3-RS
... has a 575-page instruction book. This is going to take me and the boys quite awhile. But the working power-train (incl transmission) is damn impressive. The packaging itself is incredible.
Hopefully I'll get something a lot bigger in the future, but my TTS companion whip needs to actually be a manual NA convertible with a raucous exhaust sound, so a real-life GT3-RS is probably not it.

Nice. Are the instructions step by step with pictures? I saw this when they released it and wondered if it would be fun or maddening. I'll wait for you to complete the project before following suit.

My super-cool wife shopped around for my birthday and found that while all the online sources are out or have it for a premium, there's lots where a Porsche owner would likely never think to go... the Lego store at the mall. They had several.

there are a few you tube vids about it explaining build times etc. the most common complaint is that you spend so much time building the mechanics only to cover them up to not be seen

I'm not especially fast, but I've been averaging approximately 1-2 minutes per page... so perhaps 7-10 hours in total?
