Old R8s have the VF 750 ,750Hp. The new one is about 809 hp, VF 800.
the total with install is $37 K, price beats the turbo bolt on's, start at like $45k and up, Hp options to like 1800 Hp. Check out Underground Racing.

Just to give you an idea , lp560 with supercharger will do maximum 650whp with intake and exhaust but bolt on tt lp560 will do 850whp on dyno on 93. So huge difference in dyno number . Also 60-130 for a tt system is 5.1-5.5 . Superchargers are 1.something slower .

I have a gen1 R8 V10 with ESS tuning supercharger kit(760hp claimed). I put down 610whp and 515wtq on AWD Mustang dyno. I did 160.6mph in 1/2 mile on hot summer day and 6.5s 60-130. For the price of the kit($22k installed) and the result, I'm very happy with it. Stock gen 1 is doing like 145mph and 8.xx 60-130.

Ran a gen 1 stassis R8 v10 a few years back against my 997.2 which was typical stage 2 bolt ons doing low 160's in the half mile. I'm sure the new cars and new blower kits make a lot more power.
