Car runs perfectly without any issues as everyone in the New York area and at community and the rally community will tell you.
Champion takes their and doesn't rush anything. That's why it makes sense to actually send the car down there instead of having somebody up here do the work. They don't treat you like a number but like a valued customer.
Unfortunately the dragstrip they use for the quarter-mile, PBIR, is now only doing it once per week now and as a result the crowds are tremendous so you get virtually no runs. I would love to take it for a spin at PBIR before bringing it back up here but my next few weeks are absolutely crazy so I doubt it will happen.
I would not expect the car to be in the nines unless I was using some drag radios or maybe R888s.

I have been to Champion a number of times and the cleanliness of the shop and the fact that it is Porsche only and that is designs and makes much of the mods and their warranty made it a no brainer for me to go back there for the Turbo upgrade. My car worked perfectly after I sent it down there for Stage 2+ with Champion intercoolers.
Just don't expect me to break any records with it. That was not the purpose of this upgrade. I will live vicariously through Mark and Jeff for those as they are willing to do lots more with their cars than me.

I just don't want anyone here to be disappointed when they don't see my car turning 9's.
I'm not modifying it that much. I'm not even sure if my quarter mile ETs will improve that much unless I were to get R888 or Mickeys.
But I sure do expect a big bump in trap speed in the half mile runway events and a nice bump in trap speed on the dragstrip. I expect it to perform a lot better in roll racing as our stock turbos really run out of breath at about 120.
If I were going to get real serious about competitions I would get meth but not taking my car up to that power level

Scott just leave your car down here in Fl. Streetcardrags is doing another event in JAN. You can do what i did and lap the dragstrip. i never ran a cool run. 10.18 sec was the best.

Stock suspension and OEM sized wheels and tires. Want max ground clearance and bump compliance and no AWD fault codes. And I wanted to minimize the chance of a crack we'l wanted to minimize the chance of a cracked wheel.

When do they open registration?

Thanks! I'm sure they'll be back on next spring. So far she's booked for two rallies next year: the Corsa Dragon rally in April, four days in pigeon Forge doing all the roads around tail of the Dragon. And she's booked on adventure Drives 04 in September which is seven days of driving through the Alps of Switzerland Italy and Austria starting and ending in Munich. And she will probably do fuel run from LA to Vegas in February. But I'll probably rent a car for that as it's too expensive to ship round-trip for a two day rally

well-known rally drivers go on adventure drives. Perhaps the most famous is Valentino Balboni the long term now retired test driver for Lamborghini.
