Tire recommendations for Stage 4 & beyond

SO here is an interesting comparison. The left graph is with a new set of PZeros back when the car only had 4k miles on it. They were the original tires except the right rear was completely new since it was replaced under tire warranty a week after I got the car. This was the first run I made with the FVD piggyback and I cut a 1.59 60ft on the county road at 75F. The second graph is two years later with a set of PZeros that have two track events on them and about 6k miles or so. The temp is 81F and so I should get good grip but the car spun like crazy and I got a 1.72 60ft. Still the ET is better than with the piggyback and the tires are probably pretty hard due to the vulcanization but the 60-130 was 7.48s compared to 8.09s with the piggyback and the trap was 131.37 vs. 129.45. After the initial traction advantage the power of Stage 4 shows up but it still potentially has traction issues which could be the reason the rev limiter is coming on. The Porsche tech thinks that is possible, Carlos does too. I am waiting to be convinced, hopefully the car is available tomorrow and I can get out to the CR in some 60 degree weather which is ideal.
Assuming this is traction, I should see 10.3 @ 134-5 on pump gas.

Having used R888's as a track tire on my Z4M their grip while high intially goes off considerably very quickly with heat cycles and are horrible when temps are below 60 degrees or in any rain. Not really a good option for daily driving period IMHO. N1 Pzeros are hard to beat for a street tire >>>>>>> than PSS and comparable compound grip wise to a Sport cup 2.

The r888 is used as a track rain tire for many and from my testing works great at the track in both cold wet conditions and on a 105 degree summer day and everything in between. Sure a slick will give you a better time but nothing is as versatile as the r888.

Haha thank you! I wasn't sure if we were talking about the same R888's. I've been running them for years. Rain or shine. Up to 1900whp and seem to do just fine. And last time I checked they made them in 20's..?
A couple weeks ago I did a 6.04 second 60-130mph in the rain 50 degrees F on my bolt on 997.2 with r888's on all 4 corners. Vbox verified and posted on the 997 forum. I also have video right after the run showing the rainy conditions.

1.55s 60ft 0-60 2.75s and 2.43 with 1ft rollout, 1/4 mile 10.40 @ 131 on 93 pump gas
Since this is about tires, here is what I did with the new PZero N1 on stage 4 hardware but Stage 3 map on a county road. I had a modified Stage 4 map that didn't pan out but I am putting the stock stage 4 map back on now. I will report when I get those results.
