Removing Stickers from Sun Visor

Good grief! What a crazy long thread for such a really simple procedure. We sure are a bunch of overthinkers!
As others have suggested, denatured alcohol works perfectly. Trust me. Been doing this on my cars, and other peoples cars, for many years. Have done all the Porsches I've owned. We recently had a detailing clinic and did six members cars at once. No leftover outline. No shadow. No residue. Perfection each time.

I realize this is one step above "I installed clear side markers". Did it, and took a few pics since there were none on here.
1. Took one sheet of paper towel folded a little smaller than the visor. Dampen it with 91% Isopropyl. Turn visor towards door window and flip up with sticker facing up.
2. Set damp towel on sticker and rub it to dampen it. Leave the towel on the visor, and put a plastic bag on it.
3. Come back in like 15-20 min.
4. Take bag and towel off and slowly peel sticker up. Mine came off in one piece.

5. There will be adhesive left over as only the vinyl sticker comes off. My car is a couple years old and the adhesive seemed a bit of a pain in the *** to get off.
6. I repeated the first two steps (damp towel and bag trick) to loosen up the adhesive. Took a tooth brush to get in the textured visor. Rubbed quite a bit with the damp isopropyl towel.
7. As you can see from the pic with the adhesive shadow, there was some blotchy areas around it. After I had the whole rectangle adhesive removed there was an uneven sheen to the visor.
8. Pulled out my Aerospace 303 protectant. Looks like an infomercial product, but it's legit! This stuff is the best out there. Put a thin coating over the visor with a microfiber. Bingo, good as new!

I know, boring stuff (at least it's not clear side markers!) but thought I'd add some simple pictures for the archives here! Not the last time someone will be doing this I'm sure!
BTW, I get all my detailing products from www.detailedimage.com

I just did this. I put the alcohol soaked paper towel in the plastic bag after letting the excess drip off then slid the whole thing over the visor which was approximately horizontal. 20 minutes later I removed it and the sticker peels right off. There is a rectangular area which is darker than the rest but that is likely caused by some fading where the warning label wasn't. My car is 3 years old in Florida where we do have bright sunshine. I'm going to try that 303 aerospace.

Good to know. Removed mine over the weekend and as stated multiple times, the patient survived without incident. Hopefully the indentation where the sticker was placed will "release" after a few weeks. Otherwise it's perfect - thanks for the info.
