Mind you that the color shown in my pictures on that thread is NOT Carrara white metallic, but Oryx White pearl.
Carrara white metallic is shown in the PDF brochure of the Panamera Middle East edition, that I refer to in that same thread.
If you want the Oryx White pearl, that will cost you an additional $11,000 in the U.S.
This keyfob is Carrara white metallic:

Comparing Carerra White to Carerra White Pearl on the configurator it appears that the Pearl is a little darker & a little "off white" - again I'm in 3D mode but have a color corrected monitor for Photoshop work. Typically the non metallic version will be more of a "pure" white (refrigerator white) whereas the metallic will generally be a little darker in tone-slightly more to the creme side if comparing the two colors side by side. Both are beautiful and come down to personal taste. Also, any pearl colored paint is harder to match than a flat color when it comes to body work.

My bad on the name of the color Suzy. I totally agree about having to see the color in person and not selecting it off any monitor. Just saying that I get a better than average look at the color because I work in a color managed environment so in that regard, it helps.

Dealerships should have the color samples somewhere this month or maybe they already have them. There you can compare the regular white with carrara white metallic.

Nobody probably cares but I'm going to write it anyway. Last year I googled oryx, and then came acros the antilope like animal that roams africa and arabia. They are a brownish color, so I kept wondering why call that white Oryx.
yesterday I was at the zoo. They had an AZIAN oryx. Guess what. The azian ones are white !
Funny thing how a day at the zoo turned into a Porsche topic for me :-)
