I have an appointment to have this installed Tuesday at RAC/RUF in Dallas, but Solomon mentioned possible faults. He has not installed on a 2014 yet, but has experienced this previously.


Have any of you installed with any issue (codes/faults)? Anything to be aware of going in that will prevent throwing faults?


I've read others having good feedback with this modification so I was surprised to hear of their concern.

Installed? It's Tuesday after business hours! After the computer adjusts, very interested to hear your thoughts? TB too, or just plenum?

 

I have had it for over 1000 miles and no faults or codes....

Absolutely! With the Akrapovic exhaust, tune and plenum, I love how my car drives.

 

Install went fine. No engine errors.

Billed at 4.5 hours ($585) because the rear bumper had to be removed and the engine dropped. There is definitely a power increase. Not huge, but seems to pull harder midrange.

I had intended to dyno before and after, but RUF does not have one on site so I would have had to run it around.Of all days, it was pouring down rain which we desperately need so I just didn't feel like messing with it. I'm happy with it.


I think a tune will really bring it alive. Coming soon.

I'm assuming when the ECU learns the new intake by adjusting to the greater airflow, power should increase even more. As I understand, it takes some full throttle runs to accomplish.

 

Well I've been working on that as soon as I turned the key the first time.
