Porsche Sport Exhaust Install

Does anyone have any idea how long it would take to install a sport exhaust in a base 991 carrera? My dealer quoted me $1100 in labor which seems high for the job.

They also quoted me high on the parts ($3300) but I think they will be willing to price match a more competitive offer. I see it on Suncoast for just under $3k and Braman is selling the exhaust system for $2.3k without new control board and assuming, the required vacuum lines. Anyone gotten better pricing on an aftermarket sport exhaust?

Well, as much as I love explaining projects and related details, I am going to go out on a limb and say it:: do some basic searches on the forum and you'll find a million previous discussions about this topic already along with very specific parts lists, price quotes, dealer experiences and more. Please please don't start another thread on this!!! Ugh

I just took my stock PSE off of my 911 last Thursday and installed an aftermarket AWE exhaust if you're interested in my stock PSE. I've only had my car for 3 months the end of this month. My understanding is you'll need to also purchase the vacuum lines however. PM me if you're interested

I believe Sonnen has the best price for the PSE kit. Also, you will need a new switch housing and 2 new side mufflers along with the various vacuum lines (and other small parts; all come with the kit). When I installed mine, I found it cheaper to buy the parts individually (I have a thread on this). This was mainly due to the kits coming with new exhaust tips which have a value of about $800.

Also, your labor price seems about right. I believe I paid about $750 for the install on my 4s. The non-S/4S is more work since it requires adding side mufflers and the vacuum lines.

I swapped my PSE for my FVD and it only took about 1 hour to 1.5 hours without having any prior experience doing it after my dealer gave me an extremely high estimate.
